In response to the disappearance of plastic bags from retailers and the inadequacy of currently offered paper bags, either lacking handles or being insufficiently durable, a need has emerged for a more practical solution. People often forget to bring a large, durable shopping bag with them, leading to the necessity for a readily available alternative.
Concept:
This project focuses on creating a recyclable paper bag with handles that is resistant to weight and leakage. The design ensures the bag can be reused multiple times for shopping and eventually repurposed as a garbage bag for food waste, addressing both convenience and sustainability.
Target Audience:
The primary target audience for this project is grocery stores, which can offer these bags for sale to customers who forget their shopping bags at home.
Key Message:
Versatility: Ideal for shopping and organic waste disposal.
Eco-Friendly: Plastic-free and decomposes in the soil.
User-Friendly: Equipped with handles for easy use.
Durability: More weight-resistant than other paper bags.
Leak-Resistant: Designed to prevent leaks, ensuring clean and safe usage.
Dimensions:
Face and Back: Height = 16.5 inches, Width = 12 inches
Bottom: 7 x 12 inches
Sides: 6.7 x 16.5 inches
This project aims to provide a practical and eco-friendly solution to the common problem of forgotten shopping bags while promoting sustainability and convenience for consumers.
